When it comes to selling, women business owners may possess feminine qualities that are actually good for closing the sale. Yet experts and entrepreneurs agree there are pros and cons to being a woman in sales. Women are empathetic, caring and sensitive. With those traits, women can tend to be too soft in a sales situation. Women need to learn to balance their emotions with the business at hand.
Women are intuitive, empathic and possess a strong desire to be liked. Some may see these qualities as weaknesses, but they actually essential for building relationships.
While being female can be an advantage in sales, there will be people who only want to work with a man. Be prepared for that, and for what your response will be when that happens.

When I worked for a boss our best salesmen were women. We worked our backsides off and made plans and they would just come back with the signed contract all the time.
On Friday afternoons all managers are normally in the office. They wouldn’t see us, but would say yeas the moment w woman asked them.
Just use your friendliness and close the deal. They can only say no. And if they do, just move on.
